Boney M 50th Anniversary Tour

 

Disco is back! At least when Boney M performed their famous dance hits for their 50th Anniversary Tour one can see several not so young disco fans moving to the music. I need not say more as the video I uploaded in You Tube above is enough evidence of the group singing Rasputin and the crowd responding in their own way.

I can say its a good way of welcoming the first week of 2025. A lot of energy, a lot of shaking and grooving. Thanks Boney M for picking Sarawak as the first venue of your anniversary tour. I also admire how their original singer, Maizie Williams, who would be in her 70s now, as she was able to execute all those energetic dances, keeping up with the fast tempo songs. Some form of confidence booster for someone my age. After the concert, I walked out the concert hall like a Daddy Cool.
